Sangeet + Mehendi
📍 Sorrento in the Park, One Tree Hill Domain, Royal Oak, Auckland
Set among the soft, rolling hills of Cornwall Park, the Sangeet + Mehendi night will unfold. This night is a joyful Indian tradition where the celebrations truly begin. A true coming together of families and cultures. There will be music, colour, and performances from both sides that reflect where we come from and the love that’s brought us here. Mehendi (henna) will be applied in intricate designs, especially for the bride, as a symbol of beauty, joy, and luck. We can’t wait to share it all with you.

Expect bold colours, high energy music, delicious Indian-fusion food, plenty to drink, and performances throughout the night. There’ll be a mehendi artist on-site and we definitely recommend getting your henna done. It’s a beautiful tradition, and not just for women, anyone is welcome to join in and leave with something special!

Ceremony + Reception
📍 Markovina Vineyard Estate, 84 Old Railway Road, Kumeū, Auckland
We’ll be celebrating at the stunning Markovina Vineyard Estate, where the garden setting and open space bring everything to life. It will start with a western ceremony outdoors, transitioning to a mixed reception indoors where the mood shifts from stillness to celebration. Get ready for music, food, speeches, stories shared across tables, and dancing into the night. This is a day we’ll never forget, and it means everything to have you there with us.

We’ll begin the celebrations with a western ceremony, exchanging vows in a beautiful garden setting surrounded by the people who’ve carried us here. Afterward, we’ll move indoors under twinkling fairy lights for the reception. Expect a spread of New Zealand favourites, Indian-fusion delights, and a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to keep spirits high.

The dress code is Western or Indian : black tie optional. For men, think formal: a dark suit and tie or a sharp kurta.
